Pool Pricing Is based on standard access for excavation, which requires a minimum of 8’ clear width and should be the access way to the shallow area of the swimming pool. Be sure to review the "Extras" page for additional charges that may be required  for excavation of your swimming pool.

note: the tractor must gain access to your backyard.  Walls are often removed

in order to gain maximum access for the excavator, other times you may have an

extra wide single gate or even a double gate access. Depending on wall removal, etc.

For concrete work around pool or patio we provide our decking crew and they work directly with you which saves a lot  of money for you. You can also work with your own concrete company if desired.  We provide the swimming pool and all necessary components, you add the masonry package for decks, walkways, patios, etc. and you save by working directly with the concrete contractor for your concrete and masonry items.

what to expect with decks and masonry items:

Most swimming pools use a minimum of 450-500 sq ft of concrete which provides a walkway around the pool area.  When properly distributed this amount of decking supplies a walkway around the pool and a patio area for table and chairs.  Additional concrete will be required for extended patio areas or as you may require.

Proper expansion between the swimming pool coping and the concrete deck is usually achieved with the

installation of an elastomeric material called mastic.  It is important to have proper expansion for your swimming pool deck,  we advise that your swimming pool decking be installed by a professional in the industry.

Textured concrete, stamped concrete, patterned decks are available and your masonry contractor will help you further customize your swimming pool project.

Firepits are constructed by the masonry contractor.  They are usually built from brick or stone and include the gasline and firering for the unit.  Cost to build a standard firepit, vary depending on the finishing of the unit as well as the gas runs.  The finishing touches to the firepit unit such as lava rocks are generally not included by the mason and will need to be added.  Lava rocks for firepits can be obtained in most home and garden stores.

If you do not want to have a built in firepit,  free-standing decorative firepits are available in many home and garden stores.

Bar B Ques are constructed by the masonry contractor. They are usually built with brick, stone or stucco sides and tile tops.  Most standard built in Bar B Ques are about 30" wide and 5' in length.   The masonry contractor will need you to supply the cooking unit and the door. Extra charges apply for additional features such as refrigerators, electrical outlets,etc.  Extending the length of the Bar B Que will create additional counter space for cooking, or add a couple of barstools and you'll have space for yourself or company to relax while you're grilling.

Access Walls, Rebuilding/Replacing a wall which may be removed for excavation. To allow for proper tractor access to the back yard, the excavator may remove a section of fence or wall.  Replacement of these items can be arranged independantly with a mason of your choice or through our masonry contractors.
